Anam Hasan is a probate and trust litigation attorney. Her practice includes contested probate matters, trust administration disputes, financial elder abuse, guardianships, and conservatorship matters. She represents trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, heirs, and conservators, in contested probate proceedings involving breach of trust claims, removal actions, recovery of trust property, disputed accountings, and complex family estate disputes under the California Probate Code. Many of her matters involve financial analysis, real property title issues, and accounting disputes intertwined with sensitive family dynamics.
Anam approaches probate litigation with careful preparation and strategic advocacy. While she is fully prepared to litigate matters through trial, she also works closely with clients to evaluate resolution opportunities through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution when those approaches better protect the client’s financial interests and family relationships.
Before focusing on probate litigation, Anam developed a strong background in social justice advocacy. She represented tenants in eviction defense matters, assisted survivors of human trafficking in obtaining immigration relief, and volunteered with expungement clinics helping individuals clear criminal records and rebuild their lives. This work continues to shape her thoughtful and client-centered approach to litigation.
Anam has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for three consecutive years, recognizing her professional achievement and peer recognition within the legal community.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Science, with a minor in Professional Writing, from the University of California, Davis.
