Adam Ferguson

Principal Attorney

Adam Ferguson has practiced trust and estate litigation for more than a decade. His litigation practice includes will contests, trust contests, fiduciary accounting and surcharge actions, conservatorships, interpretation of testamentary instruments, beneficiary representation, elder abuse litigation, appeals and more.

He represents clients throughout the litigation process beginning with pre-litigation planning and discovery through trial, appeal, or settlement.  He has experience in all areas of alternative dispute resolution and has successfully tried cases and prosecuted appeals.

His practice also includes estate planning, probate and trust administration, and real estate law.  In non-litigation cases, Adam’s litigation background provides him with the ability to anticipate and avoid disputes and liability.

Born and raised in Morgan Hill, California, Adam graduated from California State University Chico with a degree in political science with an option in legal studies.  He graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2006 where he received an award of excellence for legal writing.  Adam interned for the Honorable Eugene Hyman when Judge Hyman was the sitting Santa Clara County probate judge.

familyAdam is the former President of Leadership Morgan Hill and served on its board of directors.  Adam is a member of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar Real Property Division.

He lives in San Martin with his wife Erin, and their two sons Aidan and Collier. Adam enjoys traveling with his family and being outdoors.  If he is not in his office, there is a good chance that Adam is in Tahoe or Montana.
